Monserrat is a serene patchwork cowhide rug made from small triangular panels that come together in a soft, faceted diamond pattern. The geometry is subtle and consistent, so the floor feels gently structured rather than busy, with the hair‑on‑hide texture giving everything a quiet, cloud‑like softness underfoot. This patchwork cowhide rug is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and light‑filled spaces where you want a refined leather rug that brightens the room, adds delicate texture, and keeps the overall mood calm and airy.

Precision matters here — we hand-cut and align every piece, securing seams with a narrow zigzag stitch in durable nylon thread so the pattern reads as one continuous surface, not a patchwork of parts.

An eco-friendly fabric backing protects the underside of the leather, and light weights sewn into each corner keep the rug lying flat, with binding tape along the edges for a clean, finished look.

Easy to live with and naturally resistant to stains, this rug just needs occasional care to stay looking its best — full details on our Cowhide Care Instructions page.
